By accessing or using Gikochan, you agree to these terms and the Rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for your conduct and for every post or file you submit. You may not use Gikochan for illegal activity, to violate another person's rights, or in any way prohibited by the Rules.

Your content

You retain whatever rights you hold in content you submit. You grant Gikochan a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, and moderate that content only as needed to operate, secure, and administer the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it.

Posts are public. Other people may copy or archive them outside Gikochan's control. Deletion from Gikochan cannot remove copies held by third parties.

Moderation and enforcement

Access is a privilege, not a right. Operators may reject, remove, restrict, preserve, or report content; suspend or block access; and change or close boards when reasonably considered necessary, with or without notice. Moderation decisions do not create an obligation to monitor every post, and delayed removal does not mean content is permitted.

Operators may preserve and disclose content, IP addresses, timestamps, and related records to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect safety, investigate abuse, or report suspected illegal content—including suspected CSAM—to appropriate authorities.

Service availability

Gikochan is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Availability, accuracy, preservation of posts, and compatibility are not guaranteed. Features, limits, boards, and these terms may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued.

Third-party content and links

Most content is supplied by users and does not represent the views of Gikochan or its operators. You access user content and external links at your own risk. Report apparent violations using the built-in report tool rather than engaging with or redistributing prohibited material.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gikochan's operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or special damages arising from use of—or inability to use—the service or from user-submitted content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and severability

Continued use after revised terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These terms are governed by applicable law; no provision requires either party to waive non-waivable legal rights.
